Surrey Tree Lighting Festival offers something for everyone.

Be dazzled by Surrey’s 60-foot Christmas Tree on Surrey Civic Plaza, wander through the magical light tunnel, dance to free entertainment, and follow your nose to holiday food trucks on Enchanted Boulevard.

  

The Surrey Christmas Tree

Experience the magic of Surrey’s 60-foot Christmas tree decorated with giant holiday ornaments, lights and a star tree-topper. The tree will be lit at 6:30 p.m. on Saturday, November 25, and will stay lit throughout the day on Sunday, November 26 and until early January 2024.

Someone green and grumpy is making his way to Surrey Tree Lighting Festival on Sun, Nov 26 with a mischievous plan to turn off the lights & ruin the holiday season. The Snow Sisters have been alerted will need your help to overcome his plan and unite for light to keep Surrey’s Christmas Tree shining bright!

Lights

Be dazzled by Surrey Tree Lighting Festival’s sparkling light tunnel. Wander through the expanded Holiday Market and admire over 500-feet of waterfall lights and take pictures at fun photo opportunities. The festival will feature twinkling light displays and holiday décor around every corner for all ages to enjoy.

Stages

There’s something for everyone at Surrey Tree Lighting Festival. Dance and sing along at one of our many stages.

Snowflake Stage
Located on Surrey Civic Plaza, the Snowflake Stage acts as the Main Stage. Here, you can experience local bands, sing along with holiday classics, dance with choirs, and watch the Tree Lighting Ceremony with Mayor and Council on Saturday, November 25. 

North Pole Stage
This one’s for the kids! Bring your littles to be dazzled by magic, sing along with Belle and Cinderella, and watch the Fraser Valley Ballet perform The Nutcracker.

Candy Cane Dance Tent presented by ML Emporio
Show off your best moves at the Candy Cane Dance Tent, located on University Drive! There will be dance battles by Surrey’s best dancers throughout the day, DJ performances, a kid’s dance party, and dance lessons.  

Grand Staircase - City Centre Library 
Experience music of the holiday season as choirs sing from the Grand Staircase in City Centre Library.

Enchanted Eats

Located on Enchanted Boulevard, Surrey Tree Lighting Festival’s Enchanted Eats zone will feature delicious food, snacks and sweet treats from local food trucks.

•    Taco N Todo (V, VE, GF): Real and fresh Mexican food.
•    Kettle Corn (V, VE, GF): Popping high-quality kettle corn.  
•    Insomniac Coffee Co. (V, VE, GF): Coffee and hot chocolate.
•    Twister Express Potato (V, VE, GF): Crispy spiral shaped potato on a stick.
•    B & B Burgers (V, GF): Delicious burgers, fries and poutine.
•    Gary's Kettle Corn (V, VE, GF): Small batch popcorn popped in the kettle with sugar and seasoned with salt.

•    Kyu Grill (V): Japanese Hawaiian Fusion dishes.
•    Little Devils Pizza (V): Neapolitan pizza with local fresh ingredients.
•    Reel Mac & Cheese (V): A modern twist on macaroni and cheese.
•    Chickpea (V, VE, GF): Vegetarian comfort food with a Mediterranean twist. Serving plant-based food.
•    Little Oo Mini Donuts (V): Hot fresh mini donuts.
•    Moms Grilled Cheese (V): Gourmet grilled cheese sandwiches.
